If we cancel your order and have already processed your payment, we will give you a refund equal to the amount you paid. You agree that it is your responsibility to monitor your payment instrument to verify receipt of any refund.
Third Party Goods and Services Our Site may offer goods and services from third parties. We cannot guarantee the quality or accuracy of goods and services made available by third parties on our Site.
When a Contractor fulfills a Contract, Contractor will complete a walk through of the Contractor Services with Homeowner, and mark the project as complete in the MeinHaus Inc Platform. Homeowner (Service consumer) must then either: (A) Agree the Contract has been delivered to a state of completion (B) Clearly outline reasonable deficiencies in the project/Service that needs to be completed before Homeowner agrees to have the project closed. In the event Homeowner and Contractor do not agree on the status of the project(s), MeinHaus Inc may, in its sole discretion and without liability to either party, assess the Contract terms and fulfilment status and either: (i) deem the Contractor Services complete and release the Contract Fees to Contractor; (ii) deem the Contractor Services not complete, and withhold the Contract Fees from Contractor and return such Contract Fees to Homeowner, less the Platform Fees; or (iii) deem the Contractor Services undercomplete, and release a partial portion of the Contract Fees to the Contractor.
You acknowledge that in no event, is MeinHaus Inc required to facilitate or arbitrate any disputes among Homeowners and Contractors. Users who have entered into a Contract are encouraged to resolve disputes among themselves and come to an agreement with respect to any cancellations or refunds.
Your subscription automatically renews and you will be automatically billed until we receive notification that you want to cancel the subscription.
To cancel your subscription, please follow these steps: To cancel, please follow instructions provided in sign-up PDF sent after initial registration. Account details can be accessed, and changed when logged in at www.meinhaus.ca/prologin. Your account will be cancelled after 30 days from termination.

When you provide us with your payment information, you authorize our use of and access to the payment instrument you have chosen to use. By providing us with your payment information, you authorize us to charge the amount due to this payment instrument.
If we believe your payment has violated any law or these Terms and Conditions, we reserve the right to cancel or reverse your transaction.
Late Payment. If Users fail to pay any Platform Fees or Contract Fees when due, MeinHaus Inc reserves the right to suspend Users’ access to the MeinHaus.ca Platform and withhold the posting of any requests or bids for Contractor Services until all due and undisputed amounts are paid in full. Any late payment will be increased by the costs of collection (if any) and will incur interest at the rate of one and a half percent (1.5%) compounded monthly (19.56% annually), or the maximum legal rate (if less), plus all expenses of collection, until fully paid.
Refunds for Services We provide refunds for services sold on our Site as follows:
• MeinHaus.ca Platform is not a party or partner to any contract, or agreement which has been facilitated between purchasing consumers (Buyers of services) and independent contractors. We reserve the right at any time to arbitrate disputes between service providers and consumers, including but not limited to releasing of funds to contractor, where deemed necessary, return of subscription fees, or refunds to purchasing consumers at its sole discretion.
Consumer Protection Law Where the Consumer Protection Act, or any other consumer protection legislation in your jurisdiction applies and cannot be excluded, these Terms and Conditions will not limit your legal rights and remedies under that legislation. These Terms and Conditions will be read subject to the mandatory provisions of that legislation. If there is a conflict between these Terms and Conditions and that legislation, the mandatory provisions of the legislation will apply.
Links to Other Websites Our Site contains links to third party websites or services that we do not own or control. We are not responsible for the content, policies, or practices of any third party website or service linked to on our Site. It is your responsibility to read the terms and conditions and privacy policies of these third party websites before using these sites.
Limitation of Liability MeinHaus Inc and our directors, officers, agents, employees, subsidiaries, and affiliates will not be liable for any actions, claims, losses, damages, liabilities and expenses including legal fees from your use of the Site.
Indemnity : Except where prohibited by law, by using this Site you indemnify and hold harmless MeinHaus Inc and our directors, officers, agents, employees, subsidiaries, and affiliates from any actions, claims, losses, damages, liabilities and expenses including legal fees arising out of your use of our Site or your violation of these Terms and Conditions.
Applicable Law : These Terms and Conditions are governed by the laws of the Province of Ontario.
Dispute Resolution Subject to any exceptions specified in these Terms and Conditions, if you and MeinHaus Inc are unable to resolve any dispute through informal discussion, then you and MeinHaus Inc agree to submit the issue first before a non-binding mediator and to an arbitrator in the event that mediation fails. The decision of the arbitrator will be final and binding. Any mediator or arbitrator must be a neutral party acceptable to both you and MeinHaus Inc. The costs of any mediation or arbitration will be paid by the unsuccessful party.
Notwithstanding any other provision in these Terms and Conditions, you and MeinHaus Inc agree that you both retain the right to bring an action in small claims court and to bring an action for injunctive relief or intellectual property infringement.
• If, at any time, we record a decline, chargeback or other rejection of a charge of any due and payable Subscription Fees on Customer’s Account (“Chargeback”), this will be considered as a breach of Customer’s payment obligations hereunder, and Customer’s use of the Service may be disabled or terminated and such use of the Service will not resume until Customer re-subscribes for any such Service, and pay any applicable Subscription Fees in full, including any fees and expenses incurred by us and/or any Third Party Service for each Chargeback received (including handling and processing charges and fees incurred by the payment processor, investigative fees/wages, or penalties/damages therein), without derogating from any other remedy that may be applicable to us under these Terms or applicable.
• Independent Contractors. MeinHaus.ca’s relationship to Users is that of an independent contractor, and neither party is an agent or partner of the other. Neither party will have, and neither party will represent to any third party that it has, any authority to act on behalf of the other party.
• Contractors will specify in their bids the fees payable for the provision of the Contractor Services (“Contract Fees”, together with the Platform Fees, the “Fees”). Homeowners will pay Contract Fees in advance to MeinHaus through the MeinHaus Platform. MeinHaus.ca will release the Contract Fees to Contractors in accordance with the closing out process set forth in Section 1(c). In no event will MeinHaus.ca be liable to (i) Homeowners for unperformed or underperformed Contractor Services; or (ii) Contractors for unpaid Contract Fees.
If at any time any of the provisions set forth in these Terms and Conditions are found to be inconsistent or invalid under applicable laws, those provisions will be deemed void and will be removed from these Terms and Conditions. All other provisions will not be affected by the removal and the rest of these Terms and Conditions will still be considered valid.
These Terms and Conditions may be amended from time to time in order to maintain compliance with the law and to reflect any changes to the way we operate our Site and the way we expect users to behave on our Site. We will notify users by email of changes to these Terms and Conditions or post a notice on our Site.
